Among these victims were brilliant minds and dedicated students who significantly contributed to Canada’s educational institutions. Over the next 5 years, from 2023 to 2028 academic year, Global Affairs Canada will offer 176 scholarships to international and Canadian post-secondary students studying in Canada to honour their legacies. A minimum of 70% of the scholarships will to be granted to international students, reflecting the percentage of international passengers on Flight PS752. This prestigious scholarship offers applicants the chance to receive an average of $25,000.
