The scope of work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for the reconstruction of the launchway at Burin, NL, in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings, which will be provided during phase 2 of this process; and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not be limited to, the following: .1 Demolition and removal of the existing launchway, as noted on the drawings. .2 Construction of a new reinforced concrete launchway, complete with wheelguard and perimeter rip rap, to the dimensions as indicated on the drawings. .3 Supply and installation of rock/gravel fill, granular base support for new launchway slab and asphalt paving, as noted on the drawings. The Contractor must begin at contract award and be completed twelve (12) weeks later. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded.

La portée des travaux dans le cadre de ce projet consiste à fournir l’ensemble des installations, de la main-d’œuvre, de l’équipement et des matériaux pour la reconstruction d’une rampe de mise à l’eau à Burin (T.-N.-L.), en stricte conformité avec les spécifications et les dessins connexes, qui seront fournis au cours de la phase 2 de ce processus, et sous réserve de toutes les modalités du contrat. De façon générale, les travaux à réaliser dans le cadre du présent contrat comprennent, entre autres : 1. la démolition et l’enlèvement de la rampe de mise à l’eau existante, selon les indications des dessins; 2. la construction d’une nouvelle rampe de mise à l’eau en béton armé avec garde-roues et enrochement sur tout le périmètre, aux dimensions indiquées sur les dessins; 3. l’approvisionnement et la mise en place d’enrochement/de remblai de gravier, et d’une base granulaire pour la dalle de la nouvelle rampe de mise à l’eau et le revêtement bitumineux, selon les indications des dessins. Le fournisseur doit commencer Voici la première phase (phase 1) d’un concours à deux volets. La phase 1 évaluera les compétences de tous les soumissionnaires et la phase 2 invitera les soumissionnaires retenus à la phase 1 à transmettre une soumission financière pour le projet d’après les devis et les dessins. Une fois le contrat attribué au terme de la phase 2, la liste des soumissionnaires présélectionnés sera supprimée et aucun autre contrat ne sera attribué.
