- This project will coordinate Nunatsiavut regional endeavours for families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls by supporting access to a continuum of culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed supports, strengthening community capacity to respond to complex grief and trauma, and providing direct and indirect support to impacted individuals and families throughout the region. This work may include the direct provision of individual, family, or group counseling; assistance accessing pertinent supportive and therapeutic services; support and direction to service providers on the provision of trauma-informed, culturally appropriate services and collaboration with the provincial Family Information Liaison Unit services.

- Ce projet coordonnera les efforts régionaux du Nunatsiavut pour les familles de femmes et de filles autochtones disparues et assassinées en favorisant l'accès à un continuum de soins adaptés à la culture, éclairés sur les traumatismes, en renforçant la capacité communautaire de répondre aux deuils et aux traumatismes complexes et en fournissant un soutien direct et indirect aux individus et aux familles touchées dans toute la région. Ce travail peut comprendre la prestation de services de conseils directe aux individus, aux familles at aux groupes; aide pour accéder au soutien pertinents et services thérapeutiques; soutien et orientation aux fournisseurs de services sur la prestation de services culturellement adaptés et éclairés sur les traumatismes et la collaboration avec les services provinciaux de l'Unité de liaison pour l'information à l'intention des familles.
