Shoreline Protection Repairs – Phase 2 Musgrave Harbour, NL C2-00752 The scope of work for this project is the provision of construction activities for Phase 2 for the shoreline protection repairs at Musgrave Harbour, NL. 1. Complete removal of the existing armour stone in the locations noted on the drawings to facilitate new work. Note that the existing stones removed can be re-used in the new work if it meets the size and requirements specified. Salvage, stockpile and sort all existing stones to be re-used. Excess stones, or stones that do not meet the specified requirements, to be disposed of on-site at a location approved by the Departmental Representative. 2. Remove existing topsoil and grass along shoulder of road and toe of armour stone,asindicated on the drawings. 3. Remove any debris and side cast any accumulated sea vegetation (kelp) from area of new work, as indicated on the drawings. 4. Supply and install new rock core, geotextile, filter stone and armour stone, as shown on the drawings. 5. Regrade, level and compact existing road shoulder, as indicated on the drawings. Supplement with and install granular base if required. 6. Contractor shall contact NF Power prior to start of work to obtain an Energized Power Line Permit. Coordinate all work with NF Power and ensure all requirements for working near poles and power lines are met. 7. This is an active fishing site, therefore, contractor shall coordinate work as necessary as not to disrupt ongoing activities in the uplands area. Maintain full vehicle and vessel access to adjacent roadways and wharfs at all times. Provide and maintain temporary traffic control devices with flag operators, if required, to approval of Departmental Representative and all other governing authorities. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st , 2025.

Réparation des ouvrages de protection du littoral – Phase 2 Musgrave Harbour (T.-N.-L.) C2-00752 L’étendue des travaux dans le cadre de ce projet concerne l’exécution des tâches de construction nécessaires à la réparation des ouvrages de protection du littoral à Musgrave Harbour (T.-N.-L.). En général, les travaux à effectuer aux termes du présent contrat comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s’y limiter : 1. Enlèvement complet des pierres de protection dans les endroits indiqués sur les dessins afin de faciliter de nouveaux travaux. À noter que les pierres existantes enlevées peuvent être réutilisées dans le cadre des nouveaux travaux si elles répondent à la taille et aux exigences spécifiées. Récupérer, stocker et trier toutes les pierres existantes à réutiliser. Les pierres excédentaires, ou les pierres qui ne satisfont pas aux exigences spécifiées doivent être éliminées sur place à un endroit approuvé par le représentant ministériel. 2. Enlever l’horizon superficiel et l’herbe existants le long de l’accotement de la route et ajuster les pierres de protection, comme indiqué sur les dessins. 3. Retirer tous les débris et enlever toute végétation marine accumulée (varech) de la zone de nouveaux travaux, comme indiqué sur les dessins. 4. Fournir et mettre en place un nouvel enrochement, un nouveau géotextile et de nouvelles pierres de filtration et pierres de protection, comme il est présenté sur les dessins. 5. Niveler et compacter l’accotement de route existant, comme indiqué sur les dessins. Ajouter une base constituée de matériaux granulaires si nécessaire. 6. L’entrepreneur doit communiquer avec NF Power avant le début des travaux afin d’obtenir un permis de ligne électrique à haute tension. Coordonner tous les travaux avec NF Power et s’assurer que toutes les exigences pour travailler près des poteaux et des lignes à haute tension sont respectées. 7. Il s’agit d’un site de pêche actif. Par conséquent, l’entrepreneur doit coordonner les travaux au besoin pour ne pas perturber les activités en cours dans la zone des hautes terres. Maintenir l’accès complet des véhicules et des navires aux routes et aux quais commerciaux adjacents en tout temps. Fournir et entretenir des dispositifs temporaires de contrôle de la circulation avec des signaleurs, au besoin, à l’approbation du représentant ministériel et de toutes les autres autorités gouvernementales. L’entrepreneur doit réaliser et achever les travaux au plus tard le 31 mars 2025.
