- This project will allow Fundamental Inc to develop a detailed design and workplan to convert a classic car (previously fossil fuel based) to electric power. This is a niche market called ‘resto-mods’ that has seen significant success in places like California and the UK. The groundwork for the conversion of a classic car can also be leveraged into conversions and extension-of-life of other vehicles where the vehicles chassis and body are in good shape but the power train is at end of life.

- Ce projet permettra à Fundamental Inc d’élaborer une conception et un plan de travail détaillés pour convertir une voiture classique (auparavant alimentée par des combustibles fossiles) à l'énergie électrique. Il s'agit d'un marché de niche appelé « resto-mods » qui a connu un succès important dans des endroits comme la Californie et le Royaume-Uni. Le travail de base pour la conversion d'une voiture classique peut également être mis à profit pour la conversion et l'extension de la durée de vie d'autres véhicules dont le châssis et la carrosserie sont en bon état mais dont le groupe motopropulseur est en fin de vie.
