- The scope of work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for breakwater construction at Barr’d Harbour, NL, in strict accordance with the accompanying drawings and specifications and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:.1 Supply and installation of new rock fill core, filter stone, armour stone and infill material, as noted on the drawings.FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITEBefore submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings at their own expense and schedule, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, site remoteness, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.Contractors, bidders, or those they invite to site are to review specification Section 01 35 29 – Health and Safety Requirements before visiting site. Take all appropriate safety measures for any visit to site, either before or after acceptance of bid.

- La portée des travaux de ce projet consiste à fournir l’ensemble des installations, de la main-d’œuvre, de l’équipement et des matériaux nécessaires pour la construction de brise-lames à Barr’d Harbour (T.-N.-L.). Ces travaux doivent être strictement exécutés conformément au devis et aux dessins à l’appui et sont assujettis à toutes les modalités du contrat.En général, les travaux à effectuer aux termes du présent contrat comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s’y limiter :.1 Fourniture et installation d’un nouveau noyau en enrochement, d’une pierre de filtration, d’une pierre de protection et d’un matériau de remplissage, tel qu’indiqué sur les dessins.FAMILIARISATION AVEC LE CHANTIERAvant de présenter une proposition, les soumissionnaires peuvent visiter le site et les environs, à leurs frais et à leur convenance, pour examiner et vérifier la forme, la nature et l’étendue des travaux, les matériaux nécessaires pour réaliser les travaux, les moyens d’accès au site, l’éloignement du site, la gravité et l’incertitude des conditions météorologiques et l’exposition à celles-ci, l’état du sol et l’hébergement dont ils peuvent avoir besoin, ainsi que, de façon générale, pour obtenir tous les renseignements nécessaires portant sur les risques, les éventualités et les autres circonstances qui peuvent avoir une incidence sur leur soumission. Aucune indemnité ne sera accordée par la suite en raison d’une erreur ou d’une négligence d’observation ou de détermination correcte des conditions qui s’appliquent.Les entrepreneurs, les soumissionnaires ou ceux qui sont invités sur le site doivent examiner la section 01 35 29 du devis – Exigences en matière de santé et sécurité avant de visiter les lieux.
